Boats and Bits is run by Brian Sue & Kylie Clare
Updated 18th May 2008
Hi and welcome to Boats and Bits.
Boats and Bits was developed by Sue, Brian and Kylie to meet the need for a online market place for boaties to recycle their used boat bits. After taking on several projects over the years we often found ourselves searching for good secondhand bits to complete a project within budget and along the way met lots of other boaties in the same situation. Hence Boats and Bits was created to fill the void.
Brian and I are presently living out on the bay on board our 26' Savage Lancer Flybridge cruiser which we purchased in February. The old girl had been sadly neglected for several years so she is needs of lots of TLC including replacing the motors. Hopefully we will be able to restore her to her former glory over the next year or two.
Being mad keen boaties with the emphasis on the mad and we have probably bitten of more then we can chew but we will give it a good go! If your interested in following our progress please stay tuned and we will have some photos and more information on this project online soon.
For those of you afflicted with the boating bug we hope the site will make it easier for you to find all those boat bits for your pride and joy. So next time your thinking about buying or selling your boat, or boat bits join the crew online at Boats and Bits and we will look forward to seeing you out on the water.
Happy Boating!
